Leslie Kussmann is Executive Director of Solstice Films. Solstice Films is dedicated to producing award winning documentaries that tell the stories of people who face life challenges. Leslie brings 20+ years of personal and professional experience in healing and health education. The stories from each documentary are compelling, touching and heartfelt and will change the way people look at their lives.

Over the past 14 years Leslie's has worked on producing and distributing films on all kinds of health and healing issues. Her work through Aquarius Health Care Videos, the distribution end of the business, has won her numerous film and video awards. Establishing Solstice Films this year has allowed us to separate the production and distribution ends of the business. Aquarius Health Care Videos is known as one of the MAJOR LEADERS in HEALTH CARE ISSUES.  Leslie has both produced her own films in the past as well as worked with over 300 international producers on health issues.

Leslie's films have won over 25+ film awards for her works including Freddie's from the Time Inc, International Medical Film Festival, the Columbus International Film Festival, the Houston International Film Festival, Intercom, CINE, the American Film and Video Festival, Superfest, Telly's, the President's Award of Honor from the National Hospice Organization and the New England Film Festival.

Over the past 14 years, Leslie has worked closely with over 300 producers helping many of their programs to take form to meet the marketing niche of the educational/institutional markets. She has helped producers in all aspects of production including finding experts, funding, direction of content, length, editing and marketing strategies and plans. The producers she has worked with have gone on to win numerous film awards for their works including Emmy's and Academy Awards.

Leslie's marketing background comes from her experience in both the video production and distribution end and magazine publishing.
